恭喜发财! :P

Chinese New Year has come once again!

What's so special about this festive season?

Is it because we get to receive the mysterious red packets...

... or the huge spread of delicious food that we only get once a year?

Is it the yee sang of prosperity...

... or the oh-so-yummy cookies you can only savour once a year?

Is it the delectable golden and sweet Mandarin oranges ...

... or the very loud drums banging at a Lion Dance?

Well, these are the thing we would associate with Chinese New Year, but are they the most important part of the celebration? Obviously not!

It is said that Chinese New Year brings the meaning of turning into a new leaf where all living creatures are reborn each time on the first day of the Lunar Calendar. Hence, Chinese New Year is to celebrate the gone of the old and the coming of the new.

It's time for you to just be with your family, because they are the ones who will stand by you no matter what.

Anyways, just have fun and live in the moment!

Start respecting your elders, or something bad will happen to you! Don't gamble all your money away, well unless you're winning... and please don't take out your state-of-the-art smartphone and start living in your own world, go mingle with your relatives.

Just be good, okay?
